Dominic Ferris is regarded as one of the United Kingdom’s leading pianists. His recordings have sold over 4 million copies worldwide, and he has collaborated with renowned artists such as Barry Manilow, Priscilla Presley, and The Beach Boys — an impressive career with many stories to tell. His performance at the royal wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton led him to Steinway & Sons, where he is now Steinway Artist and global brand ambassador. With a versatile repertoire ranging from classical and jazz to pop — from Elton John to Billy Joel — he connects musical worlds in a truly compelling way. Dominic Ferris will accompany this voyage and perform concerts on board.

A master piano builder by training, Ulrich Gerhartz began his career at Steinway & Sons Hamburg, initially working at the London Restoration Centre. He later moved into the Concerts Department and was appointed Director of Concert & Artist Services in 1994.

He also oversees a programme for the selection, maintenance and tuning of concert instruments in all major concert halls throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland and has built close professional relationships with many of the world’s leading pianists. In addition to his work in the UK, Ulrich Gerhartz regularly visits the Hamburg factory to select new instruments and travels internationally to support artists performing in the United States, Canada, Australia, Israel and across Europe. In this role, he provides on-site support and ensures the highest standards of concert instruments worldwide. He shares a long-standing partnership with SEA CLOUD CRUISES and will accompany the voyage, offering guests fascinating insights into the construction, history and craftsmanship of Steinway grand pianos on board.

Anson Wong Ying Shun is a rising pianist from Hong Kong. He began his musical education at the age of nine at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, where he studied piano, bassoon, and composition, graduating with distinction.

He is currently pursuing his master’s degree at the Royal Academy of Music in London under Professor Christopher Elton, supported by prestigious scholarships including the Sir Elton John Global Exchange Programme. As a Steinway Prizewinner, recipient of third prize, and winner of the Beethoven Prize at the Dublin International Piano Competition, he has attracted international attention.

Anson is praised for playing that is “free of theatrics, yet full of poetry and passion,” captivating audiences with intelligence, power, and expression. He has already performed in cities such as London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Vienna, and Salzburg, and has appeared at festivals including the Mozarteum Salzburg and the Shenzhen Piano Music Festival.

In addition to his work as a pianist, he is also an award-winning composer.
