2011 Culinary Cruises: Star align with chefs on board

This year, accomplished top chefs will reveal tips and tricks around the kitchen aboard the windjammer SEA CLOUD II and the river yacht RIVER CLOUD II, while delighting passengers with their exclusive culinary creations. For a "taste" of what to expect: Nelson Müller, owner of "Schote" in Essen, and Nils Henkel, chef de cuisine of "Schloss Lerbach" in Bergisch-Gladbach, will be joining us on board.

From 28 May to 4 June 2011, gourmet chef Nelson Müller will sail with us on the SEA CLOUD II on our voyage from Nice to Malta. As a chef with a love of his mother's cooking and a passion for nature, Nelson will enchant our guests during their cruise across the Mediterranean Sea with culinary highlights from the region, such as an olive oil dégustation in Corsica and a shopping excursion through the markets of Palermo.

Fully utilizing the vast array of herbs and flavors, this is the secret behind Nils Henkel's culinary creations. Having only just been voted most innovative chef of the year by the readers of Diner's Club magazine, this Michelin-starred chef (3 stars) will join us aboard the RIVER CLOUD II on our river cruise from Passau to Budapest (3 to 10 September 2011). Culinary highlights will include wine and delicious Wachauer Schokolade confectionary in Krems, Austria, dégustation of Viennese specialties as well as a caviar dinner.

In addition, we will be welcoming back decorated chef Lea Linster (1 Michelin star) and the up-and-coming talents of the Jeunes Restaurateurs Deutschland academy on board our SEA CLOUD CRUISES for 2011
