For a cruise, you will always require a passport, which must be valid for at least 6 months after the end of the trip.

What is an insurance certificate?

As a German tour operator, SEA CLOUD CRUISES is obliged to provide insurance against potential insolvency. The insurance certificate is a contractual document issued by an insurance company, which guarantees that, in the event of the insolvency of SEA CLOUD CRUISES, the customer will be reimbursed for the pre-paid price of the trip or - if the cruise has already started - the costs of the return journey. You will receive the insurance certificate with your booking confirmation and should keep it in a safe place.

Is it advisable to take out travel insurance?

We recommend taking out insurance for the costs of a return journey and curtailment of the trip, or any of the other insurance packages offered by Hanse Merkur. Our cruise consultancy will be happy to help you with this.
