SEA CLOUD CRUISES announces long term charter for RIVER CLOUD

Hamburg, 13 July, 2009. The river yacht RIVER CLOUD has been leased to a Dutch company, Euroshipping Voyages E.V. The long-term contract allows SEA CLOUD CRUISES to have the river yacht, which was first put into service in 1996, utilised to full capacity for many years. “As a result of the long-term chartering agreement, we can now concentrate our marketing activities in the river cruise sector on RIVER CLOUD II, which was built in 2001, and in the ocean cruise sector on the newest addition to our fleet, the SEA CLOUD HUSSAR, debuting in 2010”, says Hermann Ebel, President and CEO of HANSA TREUHAND, the parent company of SEA CLOUD CRUISES. Konstantin Bissias, President of SEA CLOUD CRUISES continues: “This gives us the possibility to strengthen our position in the 5-star luxury market.”

River Cloud will be exclusively managed and operated by Euroshipping Voyages E.V., and at this time, continue to be used on European rivers under a new name. The agreement begins 1 March, 2010.

The new deal will have no effect on the remainder of the 2009 cruise schedule. The programme published in the catalogues for River Cloud’s 2009 season – with tours on the Rhine, Mosel, Main, Danube rivers and waterways in Holland and Belgium – remains as before.

With River Cloud II, Sea Cloud Cruises will continue to service the 5-star river cruise market with the highest standards of quality. Cruise themes of gourmet cuisine, art, music and culture as well as unique excursions, will remain hallmarks of the River Cloud II<//span> experience.
