Cycling through Holland and Flanders with SEA CLOUD CRUISES

Next spring SEA CLOUD CRUISES will, for the first time, be offering cycling cruises through Holland and Flanders. The combination of carefully planned cycling tours with a relaxed river cruise in exquisite comfort enables guests to explore the quiet beauty of Holland and Belgium both by water and land, while at the same time being pampered to their hearts' delight.

The cities visited by passengers during these cycling cruises are amongst the most beautiful in Europe: Amsterdam with its gables and canals, Antwerp, which has maintained its medieval Belgian splendour, and the old merchant town of Ghent, ever bustling, ever vibrant. Guests can cycle along the waterside promenade leading to Rotterdam and then track the river Ijssel. Another trip takes passengers through the lands north of Amsterdam to Edam where they can delight in sampling some of its famous cheese. After each leg, passengers return to the River Cloud II to enjoy excellent service and outstanding cuisine in a tranquil and relaxed atmosphere.

The three eight-day cruises will depart during April 2011 (7 to 14 April 2011, 14 to 21 April 2011, 21 to 28 April 2011) and can be booked, including the cycling package, at prices from € 2,450 per person (from/to the harbour). An early bird discount of € 250 per person will be applied to bookings received by 31 October 2010. In addition to the river cruise in the selected cabin class with full board, the price also includes six guided cycling excursions on selected routes. Each participant will be provided with a specialised high-quality bicycle for the duration of the trip. An accompanying bus with bicycle trailer, offering the option of giving cyclists a lift, all admission and tour fees, comprehensive assistance including refreshment breaks and sumptuous picnics are also included in the price.
